We believe that light is more than just brightness. A light fixture shapes a room – not only when it is switched on, but also in the hours in between.
The CORDO lamp is the result of an intensive exploration of space, structure, and atmosphere. It was created to achieve a rare balance: by day it functions as a minimalist object, while at night it creates a warm, intimate lighting atmosphere.
No compromises. No short-lived trends.
The heart of CORDO is its material: translucent PETG. It doesn't simply let the light through, but gives it a unique depth and softness.
Manufactured using precise additive manufacturing processes and assembled by hand in our studio in Münster, each lamp is unique. Even the specially developed bayonet fitting serves a higher purpose: it combines modularity with durability, ensuring the design's longevity.
The brand is the brainchild of Nils van Koeverden and Jan Gregor Kaup .
Having met at the MSA | Münster School of Architecture , we combine a fascination for new manufacturing methods with an architectural eye for detail. What began as a vision in the first semester became reality in November 2025.
